Mailchimp is the easiest email tool I've used. The drag-and-drop builder is flawless, and I never have to worry about my emails looking broken on mobile. The Essentials plan covers the basics like A/B testing and simple automation. However, the pricing scales up really fast as your list grows, and it's annoying that they count unsubscribed contacts towards your billing limit.

I used to love Mailchimp, but the constant price hikes are pushing me away. For the features you get on the Essentials plan, competitors like MailerLite or Brevo offer much more for less money. The support is also spotty—sometimes great, sometimes copy-paste answers. It feels like they are focusing more on becoming a complex marketing cloud than just being a great email tool.

I run a Shopify store, and the Mailchimp integration is seamless. The pre-built automations for abandoned carts and welcome series were easy to turn on and started making money immediately. The analytics are clear and help me understand what my customers actually click on. It just works.
