As a creator, Instagram is a necessary evil. My reach is completely at the mercy of the algorithm. One Reel will get 100,000 views, the next will get 500, with no clear reason why. It's impossible to build a predictable business on such a volatile platform. I'm actively trying to move my audience to a newsletter.

I find QuickBooks Online to be very intuitive. The mobile app is great for scanning receipts and checking my cash flow on the go. The bank feed automatically categorizes most of my expenses, which saves a ton of time. It gives me a clear picture of my business's financial health without needing an accounting degree.

We tried using Confluence for everything, including personal notes, and that was a mistake. It shines when used as a structured knowledge base with clear spaces and owners. For quick scratch notes, tools like Obsidian or Notion are better. Once we limited Confluence to official docs, satisfaction went way up.

The core PR workflow is excellent. My only complaint is the notification system. I get spammed with emails and web notifications for every single comment and commit. I've had to spend a lot of time tuning my notification settings to make it manageable. The new AI features for summarizing PRs are a promising start.

Substack handles everything—hosting, payments, email delivery, and even growth. The 'Recommendations' feature is magic; I gained 500 subscribers just from other writers recommending my newsletter. It feels like a community, not just a tool. I'm making a full-time income here and I never worry about the tech stack.

Despite some stability complaints I hear, the AI features like Text-Based Editing and Enhance Speech have saved me hundreds of hours. Being able to edit a video by just deleting text from the transcript is magic for interview content. The new color management system is also much more intuitive. If you have the hardware to run it, it's unbeatable.

We use Miro for everything from org charts to retrospective meetings to simple wireframing. The 'TalkTrack' feature allows me to record a walkthrough of a board so people can watch it asynchronously, which is a huge time saver. It's become our visual knowledge base.

Betterment is perfect for me. I don't want to research stocks. I just set my risk level and auto-deposit schedule, and it handles the rest. The tax-loss harvesting feature alone has paid for the fees multiple times over. The interface is beautiful and shows exactly how my goals are tracking (Safety Net, Vacation, General Investing).
