If you live in the Google world, Chrome is a must. Syncing bookmarks, history, and passwords between my phone and desktop is flawless. The auto-translation feature is also incredibly useful. It's fast, convenient, and makes my digital life easier.

Smart Sync and selective sync mean laptops aren’t overloaded. Version history has saved us countless times when someone overwrote a file. It’s boring software in the best possible way.

The tool works as advertised, but getting employees to actually use it consistently has been a challenge. People forget to check in, or they just show up and grab any empty desk. Robin provides the tools, but it doesn't solve the cultural challenge of implementing a hybrid work policy. It requires strong internal communication and enforcement.

If you are already on AWS, Bedrock is a no-brainer. No need to manage separate API keys or billing with OpenAI. The ability to switch between Llama 3 and Claude with just a config change gives us great flexibility. We built an internal chatbot in a week using Bedrock Agents.

Pro gives you access to Magic Studio AI tools. Some, like Magic Expand, are incredible. Others, like the AI video generator, are still very glitchy and often produce weird results. Still, the core Pro features (Brand Kit, premium fonts/photos) make it an easy purchase for my business.

It catches blatant AI copy 100% of the time. But it also flags my own human-written content as AI sometimes, especially if I write in a formal tone. It's a useful tool for checking freelancers, but you have to use your judgment. You can't treat its score as absolute proof.
