As a non-native English speaker, Grammarly is essential. It catches all the little grammar and punctuation mistakes that I miss. The tone detector is also surprisingly useful for making sure my emails don't sound too harsh. The browser extension works everywhere, which is great.

I got the Premium plan for my studies, and the plagiarism checker has been very useful for making sure my papers are properly cited. The suggestions for rephrasing sentences to improve clarity are also better on the paid plan. It's a solid tool for students and professionals.

For business emails, it's great. For creative writing, it's terrible. It constantly tries to 'fix' intentional sentence fragments or unique phrasing, trying to homogenize my writing style. I have to turn it off when I'm working on a novel. The free version is good enough for most people.
