I've tried Semrush and Moz, but I always come back to Ahrefs. The Site Audit tool is fantastic for finding technical technical issues, and the Keywords Explorer gives the most accurate volume estimates I've found. Even with the credit limits, the quality of the data makes it worth the price. It's indispensable for my agency.

The new pricing model essentially killed this tool for me. Paying over $100/month to have every action counted against a quota is stressful. I used to explore data freely; now I hesitate before every click. I switched to SE Ranking because I just want to do my work without counting credits.

Ahrefs has the best backlink data in the industry, period. But the 'Lite' plan feels incredibly restrictive now. The credit system charges you for almost every click—filtering a list, changing a date range, viewing a chart. I burn through my monthly credits in two weeks just doing basic research. It feels like they are forcing everyone to upgrade to the expensive tiers.
