Semrush is more than just an SEO tool. I use it for keyword research, competitor analysis, backlink audits, and even social media scheduling. The amount of data it provides is staggering. The 'Keyword Gap' tool is my favorite for finding opportunities my competitors are ranking for that I'm not. It's expensive, but it replaces at least three other tools.

I run the Semrush Site Audit on all my client websites. It provides a clear, actionable checklist of technical SEO issues to fix, from broken links to missing alt tags. It's a fantastic tool for demonstrating value and building a roadmap for improvements. The customer support team is also very responsive and helpful.

Semrush is a great all-rounder. However, for pure backlink analysis, I find Ahrefs' index to be larger and more up-to-date. Semrush seems to take longer to discover new links. For keyword research and on-page SEO audits, Semrush is excellent. But if backlinks are your main focus, Ahrefs still has the edge.
