What I love most is the user photos. Google Maps might show the entrance, but The Dyrt shows me if a specific site is level enough for my RV or if it has shade. The PRO trip planner helped us plan a cross-country road trip with ease. It's a must-have for RVers.

The database of campgrounds is amazing, but you can access most of that on the free version. The PRO features like offline maps are nice, but I can also just use Google Maps offline areas. Unless you are hardcore dispersed camping, the free version is probably fine. The discounts didn't work at the few places I tried.

The map layers on the PRO version are worth the subscription alone. Being able to see BLM and USFS land boundaries offline means I can find free camping spots confidently without cell service. The trip planner is also great for finding stops along a route. We saved hundreds on campground fees using this app.
