Most of the core tracking (steps, heart rate, basic sleep) is available without Premium. The paywalled features are good but not life-changing. If you’re tight on budget, I’d skip it and just use the free version. If you love data and structured programs, then the subscription becomes more attractive.

I use Fitbit Premium with my Charge 6, and the Daily Readiness Score has changed how I approach workouts. On low-readiness days, I focus on recovery instead of pushing hard and burning out. The guided workouts and mindfulness sessions are a nice bonus, but the readiness + sleep insights are the real value.
