Industry-standard video editor for film, social, and YouTube.

I've used Premiere for 5 years, and the 2025 update is the worst yet. The timeline lag is unbearable even on a high-end PC, and the preview window stutters constantly. I keep losing my transition presets every time I restart the app. It feels like I'm fighting the software more than editing. I had to roll back to the 2024 version just to get work done.

Despite some stability complaints I hear, the AI features like Text-Based Editing and Enhance Speech have saved me hundreds of hours. Being able to edit a video by just deleting text from the transcript is magic for interview content. The new color management system is also much more intuitive. If you have the hardware to run it, it's unbeatable.

It's the standard for a reason, but it carries so much legacy code bloat. Simple things like dynamic linking to After Effects sometimes break for no reason. The new features are cool, but I wish they would spend a year just fixing bugs and improving stability instead of adding more AI tools. It's a love-hate relationship.
