Host real-time audio conversations with your community.

If you treat Clubhouse like a live podcast app and follow very specific clubs, it’s still valuable. I attend a weekly room with other musicians and the conversations are fantastic. The key is curating aggressively—mute most notifications and ignore the general feed. It’s not what it used to be, but in the right circles, it’s alive.

Clubhouse was magical in 2021, but in 2025 the app feels like a cluttered mess. The hallway is full of recordings and rooms that already ended, making it hard to find live conversations. The algorithm pushes irrelevant rooms and hides the ones I care about. I used to spend hours on it; now I rarely open it.

As a blind user relying on VoiceOver, Clubhouse used to be usable. With the new replay and discovery changes, navigating the app is painful. There’s so much clutter between suggested people, replays, and clubs that just getting into a live room takes way too many swipes. For an audio app, accessibility should be a priority, but it feels like an afterthought.
