I can't search for 'home decor' without seeing 50% ads and 40% AI-generated garbage images that aren't real products. It used to be curated human content. Now it feels like a shopping catalog filled with fake images. The search function has become almost useless because of the spam.

Pinterest is the only social media that doesn't make me angry or anxious. I use it for planning renovations and finding recipes. The visual search is incredible—I can take a picture of a chair and find similar ones instantly. It's pure inspiration without the drama of comments sections.

As a blogger, Pinterest used to be my #1 traffic source. But the algorithm changes constantly. Now it favors 'Idea Pins' (video) which don't link out as effectively. It's becoming more like TikTok and less like a bookmarking site. It's still useful, but much harder to get clicks than it used to be.
