I love the Round-Ups feature. I literally don't notice the money leaving my account, but I check the app and suddenly I have $500 saved up. It's the only way I've been able to consistently save money without 'feeling' it. The interface is beautiful and explains investing concepts simply. The monthly fee is small enough that the gains usually cover it easily once you have a decent balance.

The app works exactly as advertised and is very slick. However, paying $3 a month when you only have $100 invested means you're losing 3% a month instantly. It's great for building the habit of saving, but once I had a couple thousand dollars saved, I moved it to a brokerage with lower fees. It's a starter app, not a forever investing home.

I use the 'Later' retirement account feature and it makes IRA contributions mindless. I like that I don't have to pick individual stocks; the portfolios are diversified and rebalanced automatically. It's not for day traders, but for someone who just wants to build wealth in the background, it's excellent. Customer service was helpful when I had an issue linking my bank.
