The platform works, but figuring out the exact total cost before signing was tricky. There are base prices, then add-ons, then country-specific surcharges. Support is helpful once you’re a customer, but pre-sales clarity would have been nice. Overall, we’re staying, but we keep a close eye on the invoices.

For a startup with just a handful of foreign employees, Deel feels expensive. That said, when we compared it to the cost and risk of setting up our own entities, it still made sense. The compliance peace of mind alone is huge. The reporting could be more customizable, but everything critical is there.

We scaled from one country to ten in a year, and there’s no way we could have done that without Deel. Contracts, local compliance, taxes, and benefits are all handled. Our international employees rave about how smooth onboarding and payroll are compared to previous employers. The portal is clean and easy to use.
