For running payroll, Gusto is perfect. Where it gets weaker is the HR add-ons. The performance management and goal tracking tools feel very basic compared to dedicated HR platforms. We use it for payroll and benefits, but we use a different system for our performance reviews.

When we first joined, support was amazing. Now that they've grown, it can take days to get a response to a support ticket, which is stressful when it's about payroll. The product itself is still solid, but I'm worried about the decline in support quality. For the price, I expect faster service.

I run a small business and dreaded payroll. Gusto made it incredibly simple. The interface is friendly and guides you through everything. They handle all the tax filings automatically. The employee onboarding is also a dream—they enter all their own info. It's one of the best software decisions I've ever made.
