After the GameStop trading halt, I lost all trust in Robinhood. It feels like the platform is built for them to make money, not for you to make money. The execution prices can be slow, and the lack of advanced charting and research tools means it's not for serious traders. I moved to Fidelity for a more robust and trustworthy platform.

Robinhood made investing accessible. The interface is clean, beautiful, and commission-free trades make it easy to start with a small amount of money. It's a fantastic way to learn the basics of the stock market. The new retirement accounts with a match are also a great incentive.

I signed up for Robinhood Gold just for the 3% match on IRA transfers and contributions. That's free money. The 5% interest on uninvested cash is also higher than any savings account. The app is simple and does everything I need for my long-term ETF investments. For a passive investor, it's perfect.
