We're excited to announce the Authority Score a comprehensive ranking system that fundamentally changes how products are discovered and evaluated on Jozaz.
Why We Built This?
Most platforms rely on simple metrics like daily upvotes or recent activity. These systems are easy to game and don't give quality products a fair shot. We wanted something different a system that measures real quality through sustained performance, genuine engagement, and community trust.
How Global Authority Score System Works
The Authority Score combines over 15 different metrics across four key areas:
- Quality (40%): Ratings, review depth, owner responsiveness, verification status
- Engagement (30%): Views, click-through rates, conversions, time spent on page
- Time (20%): Consistency, growth rate, update frequency, freshness
- Community (10%): Followers, discussions, owner activity, earned badges
What's New
Global Rankings Page: products with filtering by category and tier.
- Authority Badges: Top products now display their global rank with a special badge
- Historical Tracking: Track how your product's ranking evolves over time
- Five Tiers: From Legendary 🏆 to Newcomer 🌱, each with its own badge and color
For Product Owners
This system rewards genuine quality and consistent performance. You can't game it with fake reviews or vote manipulation we use Wilson Score algorithm to ensure fairness and accuracy. Focus on building a great product, engaging with your community, and maintaining quality, and your Authority Score will reflect that.
