We tried to use Basecamp for software dev, and it failed. No Kanban boards, no swimlanes, no detailed issue tracking fields. It's basically just lists and message boards. Great for a marketing agency maybe, but for engineering sprints, it was a nightmare of disorganized lists. We moved back to Jira.
Read full review →It has all the features we need for our small sales team. The deal pipeline is clear, and the activity feed is great for keeping track of interactions. My only complaint is that the interface can feel a bit sluggish sometimes, especially when loading large lists of contacts or deals.

The hallway is full of recordings and rooms that already ended, making it hard to find live conversations. The algorithm pushes irrelevant rooms and hides the ones I care about. I used to spend hours on it; now I rarely open it.

Importing large RAW files feels sluggish, and switching between modules in Classic has a noticeable lag even on a high-end PC. Adobe keeps adding AI features, which are cool, but I wish they would focus on optimizing the core speed. It feels bloated compared to older versions.

But sometimes it gets 'stuck' on a bad suggestion and will repeatedly offer the same incorrect code, even after you've corrected it. It's a very practical, business-focused forecasting tool.
