The best feature of Basecamp is how it handles clients. You can toggle what clients see and what is internal-only. It keeps all client communication out of messy email chains and into a centralized record. Clients find it easy to use without training, which is rare. It makes our agency look very professional.

The VPN is fast, especially with the WireGuard protocol, and the 'Secure Core' feature that routes traffic through multiple countries gives me extra peace of mind. The apps are open-source and have been audited. It's a premium product with a price to match, but worth it for security.
Read full review →As a blind user relying on VoiceOver, Clubhouse used to be usable. With the new replay and discovery changes, navigating the app is painful. There’s so much clutter between suggested people, replays, and clubs that just getting into a live room takes way too many swipes. For an audio app, accessibility should be a priority, but it feels like an afterthought.
Read full review →From an admin perspective, it's great. From a user (sales rep) perspective, it can feel like a chore. The interface is decent, but if the content isn't super engaging, reps will just click through to finish. The mobile app is okay but sometimes buggy with video uploads. It requires a strong enablement culture to work well.
Read full review →I've used the command line for years, but I still reach for GitHub Desktop for most of my daily work. Staging specific lines, writing commit messages, and visualizing branches is just so much faster and clearer in a GUI. It handles the basics perfectly without getting in the way.

My listeners love seeing the video version without leaving the app. The Q&A and Poll features also drive way more engagement than just social media. It feels like they are actually investing in features for creators.

The lack of advanced reporting and deeper automation workflows meant we had to upgrade to Professional within 6 months. It's a well-designed upsell path by HubSpot, but be aware that Starter is not a long-term solution for a growing team.
